A Request for All Who Visit the Fiddlehead’s Classroom
At Fiddleheads we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming classroom space. All are welcome. We ask that all students join us in creating a classroom environment that is inclusive, welcoming, and supportive.
Age Requirements
As a general rule Fiddlehead’s welcomes all eager to learn students 12 and up. That said, certain classes will have more specific age ranges (both younger and older) so please read the class listing thoroughly. Students 12 and under are requested to have an adult companion also registered for the class to accompany them. 
When bringing children into the classroom space, please consider their ability and willingness to engage with the class. We absolutely welcome children into the classroom environment but for some children it can be difficult to take classes that require quiet and focus without being disruptive to the group. Class Enrollment & Communication
Students must register and pay for their class to have their space reserved. Class communications - potential reminders, updates, schedule changes, etc. - will take place via email. Please sign up for your class(es) using an email that you check regularly to ensure all class communications are received in a timely manner.
Enrollment Minimums & Maximums
With each individual instructor we work to set a class attendance minimum (the number of students required for the class to run) and a class attendance maximum. This information will be shared within the class listing. If a class does not meet the minimum number of students by 72 hours out from the class start time, the class may be rescheduled or canceled with a full refund offered.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to cancel your registration for a class please contact us as soon as possible. A full refund can be issued when notice of your cancellation is received 72 hours or more in advance. A great deal of work goes into preparing for classes, for both the shop and our teachers, and last minute cancellations are difficult on everyone, including other students if cancellations bring enrollment below the minimum needed to run the class. Because of that we are unable to offer refunds for classes canceled less than 72 hours in advance. If there is a waitlist for a class, we’re happy to attempt to fill your spot but we cannot guarantee the success of these efforts. Additionally if you are able to find someone interested in taking your spot in a class, we are happy to work with you to have your registration transferred.
