For all sizes of little girls, and all types of rainy days! Brighten a young girls outlook with fresh laminated prints (for the Raincoat) or home dec fabrics (for the Runabout). A lightweight lining and multiple style options with great finishes, these sweet jackets are the cure for dreary skies!

Materials List (for all styles & sizes):

The yardage given is for a one-way design. Allow extra yardage for matching or centering a design on your fabric.

There are so many great options with this coat! The Raincoat exterior is made using my 58” wide mid-weight Laminated fabric from my "Love" collection.

You can also make a light weight Jacket by using 54" wide Home Dec fabric for the exterior.

For the Lining use either 44” wide quilting weight or 54” mid-weight Home Dec fabric.

If you're working with laminated fabric, be sure to check out my "Laminated Fabric Tips" on my website before you start to sew. These tips will really come in handy!

This Coat was designed as a fitted garment so light weight clothing can be worn underneath. Make the next larger size for heavier layers.

To get started, check the charts below to determine which size and length coat you’ll be making.

Use the Body Measurement Chart to determine the size you'll be making. First take a measuring tape and measure around the fullest part of the child's chest, waist and hips. Their chest measurement will dictate their size. If their measurements fall between sizes, choose the larger of the two sizes.

BODY MEASUREMENT CHART:

FINISHED LENGTH CHART: measurements are from the base of your neck to the hem of your choice.
