Our Eider 100% Cotton Velvet is so lush, it has the durability to be used to upholster furniture and the elegance to create truly lovely pieces of apparel. It is quite thick. The fabric can be washed in the machine but will dull a bit if you do, so dry cleaning may be the best option to keep the fabric's beautiful shine.
Note: Our velvet is stored on rolls and then folded when shipped. Some rippling or fold lines may be present on your velvet when it arrives. Iron the backside of your velvet with heavy steam to remove rippling and fold lines. Additionally, laundering will help remove folds/rippling.
