Indigo block printed Indian cotton featuring a gorgeous floral motif reminiscent of Matilija poppies.

Our cottons from India are block printed by hand, resulting in a gorgeously unique fabric ideal for tops, scarves, jacket linings, quilts, and similar projects. The hand-printed nature of this fabric can result in variations of the print.

Please note that many fabrics are starched before they are put on a bolt to make the wrapping easier and tidier. Fabric should be expected to soften and develop more drape after washing.

Care instructions: Wash on cool with gentle soap and like colors. IMPORTANT NOTE: The indigo dye will run the first few washes and can dye/stain other items in the wash. Make sure to wash separately or with other indigo dyed garments until dye stops rinsing off of your fabric.
