Friday, April 18, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, in the Fiddlehead Classroom
Join us for a peaceful and creative exploration of single-needle felting, a meditative process that fosters both artistry and calm. This workshop begins with a dive into your artistic vision – please bring a photo, magazine cut-out, or other art sample that inspires you. Sharon will discuss color, shape, and texture – the design elements that are the focus throughout this project.
Using raw, natural wool, you will create a fat-quarter (or similar) sized tapestry that reflects the beauty of your inspiration. Through hands-on instruction, you’ll learn essential felting techniques while making artistic choices that feel authentic to you. Sharon provides personalized coaching, supporting your unique creative vision.
No prior experience is necessary – just your curiosity and a love for texture and color. Whether you are new to needle felting or looking to deepen your skills, this workshop offers a welcoming space to slow down, connect with inspiration, and create something truly special.
