21 Wale Corduroy in Navy
Content: 100% Cotton
Manufacturer: Robert Kaufman
21 wale corduroy is a lightweight corduroy that retains the sturdiness of traditional corduroy but is easier to sew. This lighter weight corduroy is typically used for shirts, dresses, or lightweight pants and is easier to sew than a heavier-weight corduroy.
Corduroy (French for cord of the King) is a sturdy yet supple high-quality fabric. The width of the cord in corduroy is the size of the wale, or the number of ridges per inch. Traditional corduroy is usually 10 to 12 wale; the higher the wale, the thinner the width of the wale.
Care instructions: Machine wash cold. Delicate cycle. No bleach. Wash dark colors separately. Tumble dry low. Remove promptly.
