Art Student Tote, Anna Maria Horner

The Art Student Tote is loaded with pockets and so versatile. Both full-size options give you plenty of organized space. The extension panel in option B increases the tote height to 24" but drops out of the way when you don't need it, and the slim option provides just as much style for days that are a bit lighter weight.

Finished size: Option A and B are 20"w x 17.5"h x 4"d. Option C is 13.5"w x 17"h.

Materials needed:
Medium-weight woven cottons, home decor cottons, or velveteens work well for the outer panels, straps, and outer pockets of this bag. You may want a lighter-weight material for the lining panels, inner pockets, and extension panels.

Options A (full-size tote): 1 1/4 yards of outer fabric; 3/4 yard of contrast fabric; 2 1/4 yards of lining fabric
Option B (full-size tote with extension panel): 1 1/4 yards of outer fabric; 3/4 yard of contrast fabric; 3 1/4 yards of lining fabric
Option C (slim tote with divider): 1 yard of outer fabric; 3/4 yard of contrast fabric; 1 1/4 yards of lining fabric
