Akola block printed fabric is a traditional textile printing technique from the Kola region in Rajasthan, India. It's characterized by hand-carved wooden blocks used to print designs on fabric using natural dyes like indigo.
Our cottons from India are block printed by hand, resulting in a gorgeously unique fabric ideal for tops, scarves, jacket linings, quilts, and similar projects. The hand-printed nature of this fabric can result in variations of the print.
