October - Sanganeri Mul Cotton Blockprint from India

This gauzy orange floral-printed fabric is created from a hand-block printing technique that has its origins in Sanganer, a village in the southern city of Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Mul cotton is a soft, gauzy fabric that is very sheer, lightweight, and breathable. You may wish to line this fabric when sewing certain garments. 

True to hand block printed fabrics, this print has a lot of variation in the background color as well as in the printing of the flowers. One of the selvedges has a curvy printed edge.
